Heather Pierucki

Heather Pierucki, LMHC

Founder and Clinical Director

LMHC

Heather has been working in the mental health field since 2011 and providing clinical supervision since 2013. She founded Island Clinical Supervision to give prelicensed clinicians in Hawaiʻi a structured, organized path through the supervision process instead of the fragmented experience most people navigate on their own. Her clinical work takes a person centered, reality therapy approach, with a focus on high performers and people navigating periods of feeling stuck. She brings that same directness into supervision. Heather holds an active LMHC license with the State of Hawaiʻi and is approved to supervise LMHC licensure candidates.

She has spent 15 years in nonprofit settings supporting people who are unhoused, involved in the criminal justice system, and living in conditions that demand both clinical skill and genuine human compassion. Natalia is a trained Harm Reduction Therapist and brings a nonjudgmental, client centered approach to every relationship. She provides community trainings aimed at reducing mental health stigma and opening conversations that many communities have historically kept closed. She has also served as an adjunct professor at UH Manoa. She has been providing supervision since 2023 and is approved to supervise LCSW licensure candidates in the State of Hawaii.

Sarina is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Addiction Counselor, Certified Eating Disorder Specialist, and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor. She has been working in behavioral health since 2019 and licensed in Hawaii since 2021, with clinical experience spanning private practice, residential treatment, PHP, IOP, psychiatric hospitals, and the criminal justice system. Her clinical work includes eating disorders, substance use, anxiety, depression, trauma, body image concerns, self harm, suicidal ideation, and co occurring mental health challenges, from an ACT, person centered, compassion focused, and strength based orientation. As a supervisor, her goal is to create a supportive space where clinicians can ask questions, build confidence, and continue developing their skills without feeling like they need to have all the answers. She enjoys helping supervisees strengthen case conceptualization, navigate complex clinical situations, and grow into their own authentic style as therapists. Her approach is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping clinicians feel both challenged and supported as they work toward licensure.
